Upon your arrival in Zanzibar, our local tour guide will warmly welcome you at the airport and escort you to historic Stone Town. Your home for the next 5 days will be a beautifully curated luxury boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Stone Town, where you’ll have time to settle in, unwind, and relax after your journey to this breathtaking island paradise.
Later in the evening, we’ll gather for a special welcome dinner in honor of Joëlle Boucaud at Zanzibar’s iconic rooftop Tea House restaurant, offering stunning 360° panoramic views of Stone Town and the sparkling Indian Ocean. This elegant evening will be the perfect opportunity for friends and family to connect, celebrate, and enjoy interactive games centered around “How Well Do You Know the Birthday Queen?” creating laughter and unforgettable memories.

Our exploration into the rich culture and fascinating history of Zanzibar continues today. Following breakfast, we’ll set off on a scenic journey to Prison Island aboard a traditional dhow boat. This unforgettable excursion offers insight into the island’s storied past, while also giving guests the opportunity to interact with the island’s famous giant tortoises.
After returning from Prison Island, our discovery of Stone Town continues with a captivating guided walking tour through its historic streets. Guests will uncover the unique culture, remarkable architecture, and centuries old heritage that make Stone Town one of the most treasured destinations in East Africa.
We’ll pause for a delightful lunch at the stylish Beach House Zanzibar, where ocean views and island flavors create the perfect midday setting.
Later in the evening, we’ll head to Le Saint Tropez Zanzibar to enjoy a breathtaking sunset followed by an elegant dinner experience, creating another unforgettable evening in celebration of Joëlle Boucaud.

Following breakfast, a new chapter of our Zanzibar celebration begins as we transition to a stunning new hotel experience. Today’s adventure takes us from the historic charm of Stone Town to the breathtaking coastline of the Michamvi Peninsula.
Your residence for the next 5 nights will be a lavish 5 star beach resort nestled along one of Zanzibar’s most scenic stretches of shoreline. Our adventure begins with a scenic cruise aboard a traditional dhow boat, where guests can relax, take in the stunning coastal views, swim in crystal clear waters, or leisurely observe and interact with the island’s famous starfish in their natural surroundings. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty and serenity of Zanzibar’s ocean paradise.
As the day continues, we’ll make our way to the world famous The Rock Restaurant Zanzibar for a truly iconic dining experience. Perched in the middle of the ocean and surrounded by pristine waters, this celebrated restaurant offers breathtaking views, fresh flavors, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

DAY 7
Today is all about checking off a once in a lifetime dream bucketlist experience, an unforgettable African safari adventure. We’ll depart Zanzibar early in the morning and fly to mainland Tanzania for an extraordinary day in the wild.
Upon arrival, your safari journey begins with an exciting game drive in a 4×4 safari vehicle through one of Tanzania’s renowned national parks. Keep your camera ready as we search for the legendary Big 5, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros, along with countless other incredible wildlife roaming freely in their natural habitat.
Midday, we’ll pause to enjoy lunch surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the African bush before continuing with more game drive exploration and wildlife spotting throughout the afternoon.
As the day comes to a close, we’ll return to the airstrip for our evening flight back to Zanzibar, bringing home unforgettable memories from one of Africa’s most iconic experiences.

Following breakfast, we’ll set sail aboard a private luxury catamaran to the stunning waters surrounding Mnemba Island. Following breakfast, guests will be picked up from the resort and comfortably transferred to the airport for return flights home. Payment Plan Details
Following initial deposit, all guests will receive a monthly invoice for the amount due (total trip cost less deposit divided by the number of payments) which can be paid directly through the website. All payments received past the invoiced due date will be assessed a $35 late fee.

Your flight should arrive at Abeid Amani Karma International Airport formerly known as Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ)
Visas are required for U.S. citizens traveling to Tanzania. You may apply for a visa online in advance of travel. Applicants may complete the e-visa application form and make payment online with a credit card or bank transfer at www.immigration.go.tz. If the e-visa is approved, the applicant will receive a “grant notice” via email. Present a copy of the grant notice to the Immigration Officer on arrival at the airport in Tanzania. U.S. citizens may also obtain a tourist visa upon arrival at the airport in Tanzania. The cost is $100 USD. Be prepared to pay in cash in case connectivity issues make electronic transactions impossible. A valid passport with a least 1 Visa page is required and it is recommended that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your entry into Tanzania.
Effective October 1, 2024, all foreign non-residents traveling to Zanzibar will be required to purchase mandatory travel insurance directly from the national insurer, Zanzibar Insurance Corporation, prior to arrival. Non-resident, U.S. citizens traveling to Zanzibar can pre-pay for the travel insurance here.
International flights to Zanzibar are not included in the price, it is your responsibility to purchase your own flight for the trip. We can assist with finding flights deals after confirmed reservation.
