Morocco is simply exotic. From the bustling souks of Marrakech to the serene peaks of the Atlas Mountains, from the golden dunes of Merzouga to the endless beauty of the Sahara—Morocco is a journey of colors, culture, and adventure. Every step feels like a story unfolding. A journey through Morocco is like stepping into a living painting.
Whether sipping mint tea, riding camels with nomadic through the endless Saharan dunes, sleeping under a roof of African stars , this is a beautiful and fascinating country and a trip you are not likely to forget! This getaway is for 25 and UP crowd. Both women and men are welcomed on this trip.
ITINERARY
DAY 1
Upon your arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK), The Sunny Experience representatives will warmly greet you at the airport and take you to your beautiful Riad, a traditional Moroccan home converted into a guesthouse, nestled in the vibrant Medina of Marrakech. Get comfortable and relax after your journey to the most visited country in Africa.
Later in the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner at the Riad’s rooftop. Providing an opportunity to immerse ourselves in Moroccan culture while getting to know each other.

DAY 2
Founded in 1070 by the Almoravids, Marrakech has long been a crossroads of culture, trade, and artistry. Known as the “Red City” for its terracotta-colored walls, it has been home to sultans, scholars, and merchants, leaving behind a rich tapestry of history. From its grand palaces and mosques to its lively souks and legendary Jemaa el-Fna square, Marrakech offers an unforgettable blend of history, culture, and adventure.
After breakfast at the Riad, we’ll start our day with a visit to the Ben Youssef Museum, where we’ll dive into the city’s deep-rooted history and culture. We’ll explore the lush Majorelle Garden, a tropical oasis designed by French painter Jacques Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent. Next, we’ll visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, dedicated to the legendary fashion designer’s work and his connection to Morocco. We’ll take an orientation walk through the Medina, navigating its maze-like streets filled with hidden gems, local artisans, and centuries-old architecture. Our journey leads us to the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna, one of the largest public squares in the world, where we’ll encounter henna painters, storytellers, musicians, and a street food bazaar brimming with Moroccan delicacies. To end the day, we’ll indulge in a group dinner at one of Marrakech’s most popular restaurants and lounge, enjoying traditional Moroccan entertainment and cuisine. Every moment in Marrakech is a feast for the senses. Prepare to be enchanted by the sights, sounds, and flavors of this incredible city!

DAY 3
Today offers you the freedom to either unwind and take pleasure in the Riad’s facilities or partake in suggested activities, details of which will be provided to all confirmed guests. You are in MARRAKECH! The day is yours. Take it all in, explore your surroundings, relax a little, visit museums, explore the Medina, go shopping, try some new restaurants, meet some locals, get all your social media content in. However you want to spend your day, you can!

DAY 4
Our journey through Morocco’s rich history and culture continues as we set off for Merzouga—a long but rewarding drive filled with breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable experiences. Traveling from Marrakech to Merzouga is a journey through Morocco’s incredible diversity. Marrakech, with its bustling souks, historic palaces, and lively atmosphere, contrasts sharply with the serene, ever-changing landscapes along the way. After breakfast at the Riad (or packed breakfast for an early departure), we begin our scenic drive towards Merzouga. As we leave the vibrant city behind, we ascend the High Atlas Mountains, where winding roads offer breathtaking panoramic views. We are guarantee to enjoy breathtaking views of rugged peaks, winding roads, and picturesque Berber villages. From there, the landscape shifts to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient mud-brick kasbah that has served as a backdrop for many famous films. Continuing on, we pass through the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls create an awe-inspiring natural wonder. Before sunset, we will arrive at our family-run mountain hotel, where we’ll unwind with a traditional Moroccan dinner and enjoy a peaceful night surrounded by nature.

DAY 5
Our unforgettable adventure begins with a scenic drive to the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes, also known as the Merzouga Dunes. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at our hotel in Dades Gorge before continuing our journey toward the vast Sahara Desert. As we drive toward Merzouga, we’ll make a few stops at Berber villages, offering glimpses into the traditional way of life and the warm hospitality of the locals. Upon arrival, we will be greeted by our luxury Camp staffs for the next 2 days and get ready for an exciting camel ride. Enjoy a 1.5-hour trek across the golden dunes, stopping at a breathtaking spot to watch the sunset. If you’re up for it, try sandboarding and capture stunning photos of the endless desert landscape. As the sun sets, we will continue our journey to our luxury camp, where a warm welcome with mint tea awaits. Relax with a hot shower, savor a delicious dinner under the stars, and enjoy a campfire music party with traditional Berber drumming. Spend the night in your luxurious private tent, surrounded by the peaceful Sahara.

DAY 6
After a delightful breakfast, embark on a 4×4 desert adventure to uncover the hidden treasures of Merzouga. We will visit the Black volcanic rock formations rich in fossils, a nomad family living in traditional tents, Khamlia village, where you’ll experience the hypnotic beats of Gnawa spiritual music, Lake Dayte Sarji, a seasonal oasis that attracts pink flamingos and wildlife. Enjoy a lunch break in Merzouga or Hassi Labied, where you can taste an authentic Berber Pizza. Afterward, explore the ancient canal irrigation system and take a relaxing walk through the lush oasis at the foot of the dunes. Return to our Luxury Camp to unwind with a shower, followed by another magical dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7
Our unforgettable time in Merzouga has come to an end. Today, we wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, followed by a leisurely breakfast and a final moment to soak in the tranquil desert atmosphere. We then transfer back to our parked transportation in a 4×4 vehicle, marking the end of our incredible luxury camp experience. From there, we embark on our journey back to Marrakech, where we’ll check into a beautiful, luxury modern Riad in the heart of the Medina for a well-deserved rest.

DAY 8
After breakfast at our luxury Riad in Marrakech, today is all about relaxation and rejuvenation. We’ll indulge in a traditional Moroccan Hammam with massage, the perfect way to reconnect body and soul after our exciting adventures in Merzouga. In the evening, we’ll come together for a farewell dinner on the Riad’s rooftop, celebrating the incredible journey we’ve shared.

DAY 9
Following breakfast, we’ll spend the morning shopping in the Medina, selecting Moroccan treasures to take home—whether it’s the famous Moroccan mint tea, traditional herbs, or handcrafted souvenirs. Sadly, today marks the conclusion of our Morocco group adventure. We’ll be picked up from our luxury Riad and transferred to the airport for our return flights home. The friendships formed and the memories captured by our professional photographer will serve as lasting reminders of this incredible journey. Though we say goodbye to Morocco, the magic we’ve experienced will stay with us forever. The Sunny Experience staff will be in touch after your return to discuss future travel opportunities. Payment Plan Details
Following initial deposit, all clients will receive a monthly invoice for the amount due (total trip cost less deposit divided by the number of payments) which can be paid directly through the website. All payments received past the invoiced due date will be assessed a $35 late fee.

Most travelers who want to visit Morocco can do so without applying for a visa if your trip will not exceed three months. Please check for visa requirements based on the passport of the country as there are travel restrictions for some countries. It is essential that all travelers arrive with a passport that is valid for at least six months from the time you enter Morocco.
International flights to Morocco are not included in the price, it is your responsibility to purchase your own flight for the trip. We can assist with finding flights deals after confirmed reservation.
The Sunny Experience staff will create a group chat 4-6 weeks before scheduled travel date for all confirmed reservations.
Check-in is typical 2pm but there will be some adjustments made for our group to check in earlier. If you are arriving later on in the day, our welcome dinner is on the first night so do your best to be in Marrakech before 5 p.m. on the first day of the trip. Check-out is at 12 p.m. on the last day of the trip and you are able to keep your luggage at the hotel if your flight is later in the day on the day of check out but everyone must check out by 12 p.m.
